Lecture 1: The Probability of You
The Great Observer’s First Lesson
Welcome, traveler. You often ask: “Will I succeed?” or “Is this my destiny?”
In the quantum realm, the answer is always Yes and No simultaneously until you observe it.
The Superposition of Fate
Imagine a coin spinning in the air. Is it heads or tails? While spinning, it is a cloud of probability. It is 50% heads, 50% tails. It is effectively both.
Your life is this spinning coin. Every morning, you wake up in a superposition.
- You are a success.
- You are a failure.
- You are loved.
- You are alone.
All states exist in the wave function of the universe.
The Collapse
The moment you take an action—the moment you observe yourself—the wave function collapses into a single reality. Anxiety comes from fearing the collapse. Wisdom comes from knowing that you are the Observer.
“The universe does not choose for you. It offers you a menu of probabilities. Your attention is the currency that buys reality.”
Quantitative Solace
In a dataset of infinite possibilities, the probability of you existing exactly as you are is so infinitesimally small that it is statistically indistinguishable from a miracle. Do not fear the odds. You are the odds.
