First Year: Monthly Accrual

| 1 month of full attendance | 1 day | 1 day |
| 2 months of full attendance | 1 day | 2 days |
| … | … | … |
| 11 months of full attendance | 1 day | max 11 days |
After 1 Full Year: 15 Days Base per Year

| 1 year | 15 days |
| 2 years | 15 days |
| 3 years | 16 days |
| 4 years | 16 days |
| 5 years | 17 days |
| … (+1 day every 2 years) | … |
| 21+ years | max 25 days |
Accrual formula: 15 days + ⌊(years of service − 1) ÷ 2⌋, capped at 25 days.
Leave Encouragement Policy
Employers must prompt employees to use annual leave at least 6 months before it expires. If the employee still doesn’t use it after proper notice, the employer’s obligation to pay unused-leave compensation is waived.
Unused leave payout: If you resign with unused leave, you are entitled to those days × one day’s regular wage. However, this may not apply if a formal leave-encouragement notice was issued.
FAQ
Q. Does part-time work under 15 hours per week qualify for annual leave?
If you work 15 hours or more per week, the same rules apply. Workers under 15 hours per week are excluded from the annual leave provisions.
Q. How are half-days (half-leave) counted?
Two half-day leaves = 1 full day used. This calculator supports 0.5-day increments.
