What Is Lorem Ipsum?
“Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet…” derives from Cicero’s Latin philosophical work De Finibus Bonorum et Malorum (45 BC). Printers in the 1500s began using a scrambled version as a font specimen, which spread through Letraset dry-transfer sheets in the 1960s and was eventually adopted as the standard in modern design software.
