What Are the Heavenly Stems?

The Heavenly Stems classify heavenly energy into 10 categories. Positioned at the top of the four pillars, they represent psychological, conscious, and extroverted energy.

The Heavenly Stems are composed of Five Elements (Wood·Fire·Earth·Metal·Water) × Yin/Yang.
