Encode & Decode
Morse code maps letters and numbers to dots, dashes, and spacing. This converter encodes English text into Morse, decodes spaced Morse back to text, and includes a quick reference table for letters and digits.
A dot (.) is a short signal and a dash (-) is a long signal.
Letters are separated by spaces; words can be separated by `/` or `//`.
A-Z, 0-9, and common punctuation are supported; unknown characters become question marks.
The current converter focuses on A-Z, digits, and common punctuation. Other scripts require separate mappings.
Use `/` or `//` between words, and spaces between letters.
SOS is written as `... --- ...`.
This tool is for learning and conversion checks, not for emergency communication or regulated radio operation.
